What is SMRT1 Cerebrum?

In the human brain, the Cerebrum is responsible for receiving and giving meaning to information from the sense organs (inputs), as well as controlling the body (outputs)

In SMRT1's technology it is a proprietary hardware component that communicates and interprets between the keypad, touchscreen and vending machine controller board.


This is a baseline requirement for every POD that dispenses items

  • Can be installed at factory level on new machines or can be used to retrofit any existing vending machine and make it smart.
  • Offered as a standalone product along with Medulla linked to our cloud software for enterprise machines that don't have a touchscreen or want to use their own custom interface on the machine
  • Connects any existing vending machines to the cloud to better view and manage inventory & schedule service calls
  • Generates analytics and sales data for improved business intelligence
  • Is the entry level requirement to turning an ordinary machine into a smart one
  • Can be upgraded to full SMRT1 POD with the addition of the touchscreen and SMRT1 interface software
  • Enable physical machine operations to be triggered through API calls enabling deep integration of custom software
